Keep the answers that matter.
Paste a chat, select what to keep, then make a document.
Accepted formats and privacy
Text and Markdown files up to 2 MiB, with up to 1,000 messages. Portable JSON uses {"messages":[{"role":"user","content":"Hi"},{"role":"assistant","content":"Hello"}]}. Native provider ZIP exports and shared-session links are not supported in this version.
Chat text stays in this tab. Nothing is automatically saved or uploaded. Reloading, closing or leaving starts fresh; switching tabs keeps your work. Downloaded or printed copies remain on your device.
Your document, your selection.
Your preview will appear here.
Preview your text to choose individual messages. Code stays as text, and tables stay readable.
Download creates selectable text with Latin, Greek and Cyrillic font support. For other scripts or emoji, use Print / Save PDF and choose your browser's PDF destination. LaTeX stays as source text. Wide PDF tables use labeled rows; images are not embedded. Direct download stops at 100 pages; browser printing depends on your browser.
Processed on your device. No file upload.
How to use Claude to PDF
- Paste copied messages, choose a text or Markdown file, or try the labeled practice chat.
- Preview, select messages and choose the paper and text size.
- Create and download your PDF, or use Print / Save PDF for other scripts. Check the saved pages.
Keep a review thread with its reasoning
Save copied Claude feedback alongside the prompts that explain what was reviewed. Select individual messages when your input has speaker headings. Keeping the question with the answer can make revisions and assumptions easier to understand later.
Treat artifacts as separate material
A copied chat may mention an artifact without including its contents. Paste the relevant artifact text separately if you have permission to use it. Code fences remain text; this PDF tool does not execute code, capture an interactive artifact or reproduce its interface.
Make speakers explicit
Put # User and # Assistant on separate lines before each message, or use portable JSON with role and content strings. Without these labels, text remains one block. The preview never guesses who wrote a paragraph. You can keep all messages or select only the labeled assistant answers.
Review the saved pages
Choose A4 or US Letter and a readable text size. Downloaded PDFs contain selectable text with Latin, Greek and Cyrillic font support. Other scripts or emoji need Print / Save PDF and suitable browser fonts. LaTeX stays source notation, images are not embedded and long code wraps. Check the saved copy before sharing.
A local copy, with no account connection
Paste text or import TXT, Markdown or portable JSON up to 2 MiB. Native provider export archives and session-link imports are unsupported. Text stays in this tab; leaving, closing or reloading starts fresh. Explicit downloads remain yours to manage. This independent tool is not affiliated with Anthropic.
About this tool
Can I convert a Claude session link?
Copy the conversation text into the workspace. This version does not fetch session links or private accounts. A URL alone does not contain the conversation text.
Does this reproduce everything from Claude?
No. It exports the text you supply. Images, interactive content, attachments and native interface styling are not reproduced. Review citations and any omitted context yourself.
Can I choose which messages appear?
Yes. Use # User and # Assistant headings on separate lines, or portable JSON role fields, then preview and select messages. Unlabeled text stays one block.
What if my PDF contains unsupported characters?
Direct export stops with a clear error instead of dropping characters. Use Print / Save PDF with browser fonts that cover your text. Equations remain LaTeX source, and direct downloads stop at 100 pages.
